What makes it fast
Every design decision in Indie Polls is aimed at the same thing: shortening the distance between having a question and having an answer.
One snippet, any page
The embed is a small script tag that works on a static site, a landing page, a documentation page, a React or Vue app, or inside your product. It arrives as a slide-in, a modal, a banner or inline in the page, and it does not fight your CSS or drag in a framework.
Nine kinds of question
Single and multiple choice, open text, scales, ratings, ranking, date, number and email. NPS, CSAT, stars and Likert score themselves, so a scale question is a number you can watch rather than a column to average by hand. The tenth kind, an A/B test of one question two ways, is on Max.
AI drafts the survey, on Max
Describe what you want to learn in a sentence and Indie Polls proposes the questions and the answer options, phrased to avoid the leading wording that quietly ruins most homemade surveys. Edit anything you disagree with. AI drafting is a Max feature, with a couple of free goes during the trial.
Live results, and what they add up to
Responses appear as they arrive, with no export step and no report to build, and a share link hands them to the people who should see them but should not have a login. On Max the AI reads the open text back as themes and a sentiment breakdown, and every answer exports to CSV.
Light enough to leave up
The widget is small and fast, so it can sit permanently on a pricing page or in an onboarding flow without becoming a performance problem you eventually have to remove.
When one question is not enough
A survey that asks everyone the same six questions gets abandoned at the third. These are the controls that keep it short for each person answering it.
Branching, on Max
An answer can send someone forward past the questions that do not apply to them, or end the survey there and then. Targets only point forwards, so a survey cannot loop and everyone reaches the end. Branching is a Max feature.
Intro and outro screens
Say what you are asking and why before the first question, and thank people afterwards, on Pro as well as Max. You can also ask for a name or an email, on the hosted page, in the embed, or both.
Quotas and a redirect
Close a survey at the number of responses you actually need, and send whoever finishes to a page of your own instead of the outro screen. Both on Pro and Max.

Indie Polls writes the markup for the first question so you can paste it into your own email tool, with each answer a plain link that opens the rest of the survey. It is a Max feature, and Indie Polls never sends the email for you.
A webhook on every response, on Max

What is Indie Polls?

Can I run a real survey, or only a single question?
Either. On Max, an answer can also skip the questions that do not apply or end the survey early.
How do I embed a poll on my website?
Create the survey, copy the snippet, and paste it where you want it to appear, as a slide-in, a modal, a banner or inline in the page.
